Is Jesus a woman? When the Pageant of the Masters started in 1933 in Laguna Beach, they couldn't find a man with the facial features required to be cast as Jesus in "The Last Supper". For the first 10 years, Jesus was a woman. I'm not sure what gender is cast this year, but I am sure it is a production not to be missed!

The Sawdust Festival has incredible live music every day! Along with the glass blowing demos, the accessible artists, the classes, and throwing your own pot, you can watch live music surrounded by eucalyptus trees. Go to the entertainment schedule on the Sawdust website for more information.
